Mobile app built for your staff
Internal apps that put job lists, checklists, sign-off and reporting in your team's pocket — and work offline.

Your team shouldn't be fighting spreadsheets and paper in a van. We build internal mobile apps that put what they need in their pocket — job lists, checklists, clocking on, photos, reporting — and work even when the signal doesn't.

Where AI fits in a staff app
Turning a job sheet into a summary your engineer actually wants, or turning a voice note from a site into a structured job entry so nobody is typing on a ladder. Genuinely useful where the input is messy and the output gets reviewed. Not useful for anything that decides a price or dispatches someone on its own.
An internal app only works if staff use it
That's the honest truth about internal tools, and it's the thing that decides whether one succeeds. If the new system is slower than what they do now, they'll find a way around it by lunchtime. So we design for the two minutes a busy person actually has, and we get the people who'd use it involved early rather than unveiling a finished thing and hoping for the best.
Designed for where the work happens
If your people are on building sites, in a van, or walking a warehouse, the app has to work there: on a phone, outdoors, in the rain, one-handed, with no signal. We design for the real conditions rather than a desk, because a desk isn't where the job gets done.
It keeps working without a connection
The most common failure in the field isn't a dropped connection — it's the work that gets lost because someone couldn't submit it. An offline-capable app lets people carry on and sync when they get signal, which is the difference between a tool people trust and one they stop opening.
Fewer taps per job
Every tap is a decision point where someone might decide to do something else instead. We cut the number of steps hard — fewer fields, sensible defaults carried over from the last job, quick options instead of dropdowns. The measure of a good internal app is jobs completed per hour, not features delivered.
Permissions that make sense
Staff apps often hold customer addresses, site details and occasionally photographs of people's homes. We set access by role so somebody sees only what their job requires, and we keep a record of who did what. It's a small thing that matters to anyone handling customer data properly.
What’s included
- Jobs and tasks managed on the move
- Forms, checklists and sign-off
- Works offline where it matters
- Secure, role-based access
- Syncs with your other systems
Why it matters
- Faster, more accurate work in the field
- Less paperwork and fewer chasing jobs
- Staff who don't resent the new system
Often useful alongside this
- Mobile app design which covers the design and build of the staff app itself.
- Web & software applications if the back-office system behind the app also needs building.
Common questions
- What devices do our staff already have?
- We'll work with whatever they're already carrying rather than asking people to buy new phones. If the devices in use are older, we'll design and test for them properly instead of assuming everyone has the latest model.
- What if staff won't use it?
- Then it isn't designed well, and that's on us. We involve the people who'd use it early, watch them attempt a real job, and cut whatever gets in the way. An app nobody opens is worse than the process it replaced.
- Does it need to work without signal?
- For most field work, yes — because that's where the work actually happens. We build in offline capture and syncing so nothing is lost when someone is out of coverage.
- What about staff data and customer details?
- We set permissions by role and keep an activity record, so access is limited to what's needed and you can see who did what. We'll also talk you through what data protection means in practice here.
- How long does it take?
- A focused internal tool is often six to ten weeks including testing with your actual staff. We pilot with a couple of people first, because finding problems before a full rollout is far cheaper than finding them after.
